The findings of the research done in steps two and three should now be organized and ready to be reported back in all incidents. This way the assignees of the open incidents can solve their incidents with the information provided from the problem and report back additional feedback into the problem for completeness. It is important to track how the solutions of the incidents progress to verify that the hypothesis and solution or work-around are correct and complete. If there are further issues in resolving the incidents, quick updates to the solution or work-around descriptions are often sufficient to smooth out the kinks. If, however, the root cause seems to lie somewhere else, investigation should start again in step two with the additional information that should have become available during the incident handling process.
