Once a change request has been filed, the Change Advisory Board will go over the details of the request and assess the impact expected on other systems and the effort needed to implement the change. This board will assess whether the benefits of the change are enough to expend the costs and can judge other requests and determine which changes will be approved in the cycle of each meeting. Normally Change Advisory Board meetings are held on a weekly basis. All open and requests that are on hold will be discussed and if time and priority is found a change will be approved for implementation. In some cases a change will be rejected because the cost is too great in comparison to the benefits that will result from the change, or because the risk is too great to the existing infrastructure. Once a change gets accepted it is moved to the next phase and assigned to the change agent that will handle this change.
